Robert Davidson: Progression of Form

Robert Davidson: Progression of Form was a multi-faceted project which explored Davidson’s artwork within the context of the current landscape of contemporary Canadian art and Davidson’s cultural and artistic history.

Many of his works, the paintings especially, lean close to abstraction while showing deep respect for traditional Haida artistic expression—it is in this balanced intersection that we see the significance of the progression of form. Progression of Form was guest-curated by Ian M. Thom.
