Explore + Create: Memories of a Special Place

If a wall in your house could tell us a story, what might it say?
Artist Sylvan Hamburger’s artwork titled 'Ghosts Don’t Always Know They’ve Disappeared', was created by making a print of the façade (front wall of the house) that was being torn down. Even though the house has changed, people still have memories of stories about it.
Think about what makes a place feel like home. Using cardboard, paper and paint – make a whole house or half a house – what makes it special to you?
Explore + Create Saturday is a family drop-in art making program for adults and children ages 5-12 years old.
